Age + ID Information

Below is listed the ID requirements for all body art clients. 

We provide select services to those under 18 who require a parent to be present with an original copy of the child's birth certificate. Parent must have ID.

PIERCINGS for MINORS under 18
Age Minimums

  • 8 years+: Lobes only

  • 13 years+: Ear cartilage, nostril, septum, eyebrow, lip

  • 16 years+: Industrial/orbital, daith, tongue, navel

  • 18+ all piercings performed in studio

All minors are required to have a parent present with the original physical copy of their birth certificate. Parent must have ID. DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT EVERY PIERCING APPOINTMENT, regardless of any previous appointments

ID Requirements: Parent and Child

  • Parent's valid government issued photo ID, AND minor's birth certificate with parent listed

ID Requirements: Legal Guardian and Child​

  • Court documents confirming guardianship of the minor, legal guardian's government ID AND minor's birth certificate.​

Please note: the physical ID and physical original birth certificate must be on site in order to proceed with piercing/tattooing minors. A photocopy or digital copy will not be accepted

TATTOOS for MINORS under 18
Tattoos are available age 17+ through a consultation.
 

Acceptable IDs for Over 18

All IDs must have name, date of birth, and photo!

  • Passport/Passport card

  • Driver's License

  • State ID card

  • VISA/Permanent Resident card​

 

Please note: the physical ID must be on site, and we will take a photocopy of the ID. For this reason, we cannot accept military IDs and CACards; they are not legally allowed to be photocopied.
